The Kim Family in Mongolia

Luke, Gamaliel, Gloria, and Grace Kim, a Korean family that ministers in Mongolia, are pictured wearing traditional Mongolian attire.
This dear family spent a year in Tulsa getting to know Literacy and Evangelism International before returning to Mongolia to use the literacy training there. We enjoyed getting to know them and were delighted when they announced their decision to homeschool! We have picked out families that we particularly hope will do homeschooling to pray for, and the Kims were one such "prayer target." God's way of answering prayer is marvelous! The Kims are one of two families in Mongolia who use the Advanced Training Institute curriculum in their homeschooling.
Gamaliel and Gloria recently visited Tulsa recently, and we were privileged to host them in our home one evening. Conversation centered around literacy ministry and various topics related to homeschooling. May God give the Kim family perseverance in their endeavors to raise their children to the glory of God and spread the knowledge of God through the gift of reading!

The Kims compiled an excellent presentation about their life and literacy work. Gamaliel was recently appointed to the position of Central Asia Director with LEI, and is looking forward to exploring new opportunities in the region.
