On the morning of April 26th, Mommy and I enjoyed a ladies brunch with friends.  It is yet to be discovered who revealed that it was my birthday so the group could sing to me . 

The featured speaker, Mrs. Grinnell, gave an excellent presentation on herbs.  I appreciated her technique of covering much information in a small time frame, and focusing on the practicality of using herbs. (more…)

International Community Outreach hosted a banquet last night, which we were privileged to attend.  This ministry exists to glorify God by meeting practical and spiritual needs of international students through acts of service and through the proclamation of the gospel of Christ.  In other words, the goal is to make sure that no international student leaves Tulsa without having had a meaningful explanation of the Gospel.  This is certainly a great and noble task since it is estimated that 1500 to 2000 international students come to Tulsa every year.  (more…)

On Friday night, the Kamletz family visited our home.  We enjoyed catching up on their life.  Paul Stefan and I enjoyed spending time with Philip(11) and Talita(9), who amazed us with their competent social skills.  I remember when Talita was a baby – time seems to go so fast!  Philip and Talita proved to be quite knowledgeable in Bible trivia – an asset in playing Bible Outburst!
