Mommy spent hours upon hours compiling our taxes for 2007.  Due to the lack of financial record-keeping of Paul Stefan and me (which we have determined to change this year), she had no easy time.  Despite our shameful tardiness, Mommy chose to spend her time serving us – even late into the night.  Even when time to get to the post office was running out, she kept calm.  We are greatly blessed with a mother who lays aside herself to serve her family.  Compiling taxes is no simple task, but our mother did it amidst many obstacles, and with an admirable attitude.

As winter is over, and the need for a fire (at least in Oklahoma) is finished for now, it is time to plan for next year's winter.  Besides storing wood, collecting firestarters is an important consideration.  Some friends of ours told Mommy how to create firestarters from common household items.  Here is the recipe: (more…)

On Thursday night, the Signature Symphony completed it's 2007-2008 concert season.  Paul Stefan and I have greatly benefited by the opportunity to grow in orchestra experience with a group of excellent musicians. (more…)

Recently, Peter began working at Panera, one of our favorite father/child breakfast spots.  One day, I picked him up and was able to snap most of the pictures below. Peter's diligence and hospitality toward customers was impressive! (more…)

A couple of weeks ago, Heidi, Kara, and I met for lunch at Panera.  The occasion?  Kara would be leaving for Pennsylvania two days later  The three of us were in a Bible study together some years ago and Kara wanted one last time of fellowship before she left. (more…)
