On Sunday, the Kautt family of Creation Evangelism Tools, who we were privileged to meet, shared a meal with us in our home before their drive home. Mr. Jim Kautt ministers in Tübingen, Germany, with his wife. Tübingen was the city where Georg and Martha met for the first time, so the mention of that city immediately caught our attention

Friday, June 20th, 2008One of the highlights of our year at LEI is hosting a group of students interested in learning about literacy ministry. The first two-week module finished today, and six of the students will be going back home. We look forward to spending more time with the other students in the 3 remaining weeks of the course. Please pray that each one would learn what God has for them, and that they would be effective ambassadors of our Lord Jesus Christ.

In other words, the goal is to make sure that no international student leaves Tulsa without having had a meaningful explanation of the Gospel. This is certainly a great and noble task since it is estimated that 1500 to 2000 international students come to Tulsa every year. (more…)
